The short version

Your history stays on your iPhone. There is no sign-up and no bank login. If you leave anonymous stats on, each add sends a row name, amount and currency to PostHog. You can turn that off in Settings.

What stays on your phone

The things you skip, their usual prices, your taps, your weekly totals, the weeks you closed, your milestones, your currency and your reminder time. They are stored in a local database inside the app. We do not receive a copy of that history and cannot restore it for you.

Anonymous stats (optional)

In Settings, Anonymous stats is on by default. Each time you add an item, the app sends one event to PostHog, our analytics provider: the row name (for Something else, the name you type), the amount in your currency, the currency code and the time. We do not send row subtitles, your totals or your identity. PostHog assigns a random id on your phone so events can be queued offline. There is no sign-in, no advertising and no sale of data. Turn the switch off anytime; then nothing new is sent.

What we do not collect

No account, no sign-in, no bank connection, no email from the app, no ads and no cross-app tracking. Apple handles subscription billing separately.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, email, card or bank details. Apple tells the app on your phone whether your subscription is active. Apple’s own privacy policy covers that payment.

Notifications and widget

The Sunday reminder is a local notification scheduled on your phone. The home screen widget reads your weekly total from the same phone. Neither sends anything to us.

Sharing

When you share your week or a milestone, the image is made on your phone and sent only where you choose. It shows an amount, never the names of what you skipped.

Backups

Your iPhone may include app data in your own iCloud or computer backup, under your Apple ID. We have no access to those backups.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and your on-phone history is gone. We cannot delete PostHog events tied to the random install id from here; turn off anonymous stats before deleting if you prefer no further sends. See Delete Account.

Children

unmoved is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.

Emailing us

If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply. Ask us anytime to delete that conversation.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
